Rok-Max Drilling Tools was formed in 2008 as a dedicated design and supply company to the geotechnical, mineral exploration and geothermal industries.
Although a “new” company it draws on over 45 years of drilling
experience specialising in both offshore and onshore core sampling with
both conventional double tube rotary corebarrels, wireline and advanced
piston coring.
As well as standard proven designs we excel at custom projects to suit clients individual requirements and have built an unrivalled reputation for innovative and efficient designs whilst successfully completing projects within clients restricted timescales.
Over the last 45 years we have supplied equipment to some of the most well respected geotechnical drilling companies for projects throughout the world for major international organisations and government institutes to take cores and soft sediment samples in a diverse range of applications in extreme environments, from on-shore 4” hard rock spot cores on high temperature geothermal projects to 5,000 metres, to deep water offshore sea-bed wireline piston core samples
Together with the custom design and build coring applications we also supply a standard range of both D.C.D.M.A., Metric slim-hole and Geobor type conventional and wireline core barrels, core barrel handling tools, core lifters, subs, fishing tools, new and re-run tricone rock roller bits and through our associated companies we also supply diamond, PDC, T.C. and roller cone coreheads to suit almost any core barrels including oilfield to 12.1/4”.
With the large diameter core barrels we are also able to offer a consultancy service from drilling and geological engineers with extensive experience of deep hole offshore/onshore coring applications.
